Asus N51 Series Smart Notebook with Express Gate Fast Loading OS and Built-In Air Ionizer

What makes the new Asus N51 Series notebooks stand out from its other siblings? Asus has diverged from its usual cheap and cheerful laptops design using plastic with an expensive looking and shiny N51 Series (N51Vf, N51Vg, N51Vn) that provide users with a host of smart technologies such as the Super Hybrid Engine for extended computing power on the go, instantaneous access to commonly used applications with Express Gate, and an intuitive way to control and enjoy multimedia entertainment. The Asus N51 has a shiny black lid with an embellished pattern that looks like falling rain and a professional-looking silver Asus logo in the middle. Another notable improvement is the tapered rear design that looks much more pleasing than those squarish or boxy edges. Exploring further inside you will be greeted with more shininess in a champagne color. Like most of today’s notebooks, Asus N51 Series comes in a 15.6-inch, 1366×768 screen. Located at bottom of this screen is the dual mode, touch sensitive control bar that lets you enjoy multimedia entertainment easily and serves as an intuitive and convenient point of multimedia control for instantaneous multimedia enjoyment.

The ASUS Super Hybrid Engine (S.H.E) consists of the Power4 Gear Hybrid application and the Energy Processing Unit (E.P.U). Together, S.H.E and E.P.U will facilitates the deployment and usage of power according to the users’ preferences and accurately detects the users’ power requirements while making the necessary power adjustments. Asus claims that these will result in extension of battery life of up to 35% ~ 53%. And when you don’t need a full powered Windows, just press the button next to the power button and Asus Express Gate will boot up in 8 seconds, providing instantaneous access to a built-in operating system that runs commonly-used applications such as Skype™, a music player, an email client and an Internet browser.

Asus N51 Series also features an Air Ionizer that helps to clean the surrounding air from allergens and germs while promoting air-flow and circulation. Exceptionally useful feature if you always use your notebook in the bedroom.
