Windows Vista standalone update packages which upgrade a Windows Vista RTM version (6.0.6000.16386) to SP1 release (6.1.6001.18000) do not contain the updated Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Help files. The update Help files which can be installed locally are purposely left out and excluded from the final Windows Vista SP1 standalone installer in order to reduce the size of the files that users have to download.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 public availability has been officially released today, Tuesday May 6, 2008 after one week delay from the original schedule. The third and last service pack for Windows XP has released to MSDN/TechNet in April, and is now deployed through Windows Update (where code bits has been uploaded for a while and can directly download), Microsoft Update, Automatic Updates, WSUS, Windows Catalog and Microsoft Download Center to those who wants to download and upgrade Windows XP system.

Install Windows XP SP3 Without Product Key and Use for 30 Days Free with Retail CD
Microsoft is making good their promise to remove mandatory product key input during the installation or upgrading process of Windows XP operating system, in a new Windows Product Activation (WPA) process that similar to what implements in Windows Vista. However, only integrated Windows XP with Service Pack retail install or OEM CD can bypass the step to enter product key.
