Windows 8.1 Hits Release October 17th
Microsoft has revealed full details the official launch date for upcoming version of Microsoft Windows 8.1 which formerly known as Windows Blue. Windows 8.1 will roll out to users via the Windows Store at 7 A.M. Eastern time on October 17.
According to the Windows Blog, Windows 8.1 will begin rolling out worldwide as a free update for all Windows 8 consumers through the Windows Store. Windows 8.1 also will be available in retail and on new devices at the same time.
The final RTM version of Windows 8.1 are expected to be available by the end of August. Windows 8.1 comes with full of new features, new apps, and new highlights. In the late June, Microsoft released the preview version of Windows 8.1 that added lots of new features included Start button on the desktop, Internet Explorer 11, smarter search that looks across PC and the web, redesigned Windows app store, more windows options, and 3D printing support.
